Integrations/Linear

Connect Linear issues and roadmap work to journeys

How Linear works with Custory

The Linear integration helps product teams turn customer journey insight into execution without breaking context. Instead of discovering friction in one place and managing delivery somewhere else, Custory keeps the two connected so the path from insight to shipped work stays visible.

That makes Linear especially useful for fast-moving teams that want a lightweight workflow: identify the problem in the journey, create the issue with the right background, and keep progress visible without adding manual overhead.

What teams use it for

Create work at the moment insight becomes clear

Teams use Linear in Custory when they want to turn pain points, ideas, or follow-up tasks into issues immediately, with no copy-paste step between discovery and planning.

Keep product and research aligned

Linked Linear issues make it easy to see which customer problems are already being addressed and which journey findings still need an owner.

Run a fast execution loop

For teams that prefer a modern, lightweight issue tracker, the integration keeps workflow speed high while still preserving the customer reasoning behind each issue.

How it works

After connecting your Linear workspace, Custory can read the teams, projects, labels, and issue states that matter to your workflow. When a journey step reveals something worth acting on, you can create a Linear issue directly from that context and keep the source insight attached.

As the issue moves through triage, planning, and implementation, Custory keeps the status visible in the journey. That means delivery progress remains part of the same system as the customer problem that started it.

Core capabilities

Linear supports the core issue-management flow teams usually need in Custory: creating issues from journey steps, linking them back to source pain points, selecting teams and labels, setting priorities, and tracking issue status as work moves forward.

The integration is particularly strong for lean product teams that want execution to stay fast while still making customer context visible to everyone involved.

Access and security

Custory only requests the access needed to read your Linear workspace structure and create or track the linked issues you want in the workflow. Access can be revoked at any time from Linear or from Custory.

Tokens are stored securely, API traffic uses secure transport, and the integration stays scoped to the teams and projects your workspace has approved.
